H1B Visa Cap for the fiscal year 2014 (FY 2014) has reached the maximum and therefore USCIS isn’t accepting any more applications.
What does it mean for you?
1) If you have submitted your H1B petition this year in a “timely manner”, you will be part of THE H1B visa Lottery! Yay! What kind of lottery? USCIS will use a computer-generated random selection process “lottery” for all FY 2014 cap-subject petitions received through April 5, 2013. USCIS hasn’t announced the exact day of The Lottery that every H1B applicant is waiting for. Crazy stuff.
2) If you haven’t submitted your H1B visa application, sorry you gotta wait. The next possible day for your submission is going to be on April, 1st 2014. Another year to wait. Therefore, make sure to have everything ready in your application and make sure to sent your application ON TIME. That is on the first day of April, 2014.
USCIS will provide more details about H1B visa application process NEXT week! Therefore, stay tuned & sign up for our newsletter! It’s FREE.
